Getting into college is tough. Real tough. Competition is intensifying. The growing number of high school graduates (over 3 million in 2005) have created a classic supply and demand scenario. More applicants are applying for the same number of spots. For every 8 applicants, only one gets admitted! Even students with good statistics (SAT/ACT scores and GPA's) may find acceptance far from certain.

Access to college information and counseling in school is a significant benefit to students in the college application process. For many students, particularly those in public schools, college counseling in schools is limited at best. According to data from the U.S. Department of Education, for public schools, each counselor must serve an average of 315 students.

With all the choices, requirements and deadlines, it's not unusual for parents and students to become frustrated and confused. Now, thanks to Tad Dekko, co-founder of Quest For Kids and Chairman of The Quest Educational Foundation, there is a resource in Naples for ambitious Collier County high school students to get to and through college - The Quest College Admissions Program.

"If you can get them to the Quest Center, we can get them to college."
